Photo Booth is an application created by Apple that uses a built-in iSight camera to take pictures. It's possible to take a picture with a certain special effect, such as Bulge or Colored Pencil (see effects list below). These effects are chosen before you take the picture, and the preview shows the effect already applied.
Select the Photobooth icon from your application Docks bar. If you do not see it, then click on Go > Applications > Double click on the Photo Booth icon to launch the application.
To take a picture, simply click on the camera icon.
Photobooth will count down 3, 2, 1, and then take your photo.
The photo will be added to the photo strip at the bottom of the window.
Click on the Effects 1 button to bring up the window you see below. Click on the effect you want to use. I chose Thermal Camera.
Here is the result of the effect.
To take the picture, just click on the camera, hold still during the countdown, and then your phot will be taken and added to the film strip bar at the bottom of the page.
Click on the Effects 2 button to bring up the window you see below. Click on the effect you want to use. I chose Dent.
Here is the effect for dent. To take the picture, just click on the camera, hold still during the countdown, and your phot will be added to the film strip.
